To get admission you have to give MHT CET or JEE and through MHT CET counselling you will get admission, the cut-off varies you can check MHT CET's official website for the cutoff. And the college has a nice and decent campus. And it is near the city side and beside the residential area so easily access to all things. And you can live in flats or rooms beside the college.
Course and curriculum are decided by SPPU and it only takes an exam every semester and each year has 2-semester exams known as ends. Exams are moderate if you study 10 to 15 days before the exam you can clear the exam if do not study for the whole semester. Teaching is pretty nice all teachers will teach according to the exam and syllabus. Fees are 90000 to 1 lakh for open candidates. If you belong to the reserved category then you will scholarship and you will require less fees. For 1 year you will require 1.5 lakh for all cost fess and living for open candidates for reserved candidates even less.
The college will guide you for an internship but not provide you with an internship. You have to struggle and you have to find an internship by yourself. And then you will able to apply for placements College will just guide you for the internships. And yes, you have to make projects That will make your CV strong and easily get an internship. There are a lot of internships Some are unpaid, and some are paid internships, since you are in Pune, you will get a lot of options for this.
College does provide placement. In the third and 4th years, you can be eligible for placements a lot of companies visit the campus, and many mass recruiter companies also recruit a lot of students. The college has a placement rate of around 70 to 80 per cent. And college's highest package is around 9 LPA for this year(2024) and 3.2 LPA is the average for this year(2024) If you belong to computer science or ENTC or aids branch, you will likely get a place in companies. You can also apply for off-campus placements where you can get nice placements based on your skills and your performance. The college will provide you with average decent placements.
College does conduct fest and festivals but majorly focuses on exams. The college has nice classrooms and a library with basic amenities not high class but decent. The College has small grounds but does not conduct much of the sports and other activities. College does focus on exams, not on other activities. College does provide you the opportunities for activities. If you wish, you can participate. The infrastructure is okay It has three canteens 2 boys' hostels, and and 2 girls' hostels. If you wish, you can live in a college hostel, or you can rent a flat outside the college as you wish. The college hostels are bad and lack facilities whereas you will go to a flat with nice facilities.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
