JSPM NTC Admission Dates 2027

The 2027-28 admission cycle is expected to start with registrations for MHT-CET 2027 and MAH-CET 2027. The tentative schedule for upcoming admission activities is given below.

JSPM NTC Courses and Fees

JSPM NTC runs undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in engineering, management, and computer applications. Its BE degree covers six specialisations, and every listed BE branch has a total four-year fee of INR 4.70 Lakhs.

Computer Engineering and AI and Data Science attract high enrolment within the BE programme. VLSI Design and Technology focuses on semiconductor and chip-design careers. Engineering graduates interested in research or core electronics work can consider ME in Embedded System and VLSI Design.

JSPM NTC Admission Process

JSPM NTC does not hold a separate entrance examination. Engineering admissions take place through the Maharashtra centralised admission process managed by DTE Maharashtra, while the Competent Authority oversees the process for MBA and MCA.

BE Admission Process

For BE admission, students need a recognised-board 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum aggregate is 45%, reduced to 40% for reserved-category applicants. Seat allocation depends on MHT-CET PCM or JEE Main merit.

• Take either MHT-CET for the PCM group or JEE Main.
• Create an application on the DTE Maharashtra CAP portal.
• Submit the required documents and complete eligibility verification.
• Fill course and college choices online during CAP Rounds 1, 2, and 3.
• After receiving an allotment, accept the seat and visit the college for document checks.
• Confirm the admission by paying the applicable fees.

In the 2025 admission cycle, the General Category closing score for Computer Engineering was 92.5 percentile in MHT-CET. The corresponding closing percentiles were 90.29 for AI and Data Science and 83.56 for Electronics and Telecom Engineering.

MBA Admission Process

MBA applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate. Reserved-category students need 45%. JSPM NTC accepts valid results from MAH-CET, CAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA.

• Attempt MAH-CET or another approved national management entrance examination.
• Apply through the Maharashtra MBA/MMS CAP portal.
• Enter the CAP rounds for allocation of a seat.
• Complete document verification and pay the course fee after allotment.

MCA and ME Admission

Admission to MCA requires a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, a minimum aggregate of 50%, and a valid MAH-MCA-CET result. For ME, applicants need at least 50% in a relevant BE / B.Tech discipline. Selection uses GATE or MAH-ME/MTech CET scores.

JSPM NTC Placements

The annual placement period at JSPM NTC runs from October to April. Its placement cell arranges campus recruitment for final-year BE, MBA, and MCA students. Among students registered with the cell, 70% receive offers through campus drives. The highest reported salary is INR 12 LPA, and the overall average is INR 4.2 LPA.

Most offers come from software-product and IT-services employers, with Computer Engineering and AI and Data Science attracting the greatest recruiter interest. Students from Mechanical and Civil Engineering mainly seek jobs with infrastructure and core manufacturing companies. Campus opportunities are fewer for these two branches, so students also apply for jobs outside the college placement process.

Companies recruiting from the campus include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Persistent Systems, Zensar Technologies, Fiserv, Cybage Software, Syntel, Bosch, Bharat Forge, and TATA Motors.

JSPM NTC Rankings

JSPM NTC takes part in the NIRF assessment for engineering institutions. In 2024, it appeared in the national Engineering band of 201 to 250.

JSPM NTC Scholarships

Students at JSPM NTC may apply for scholarship schemes funded by the Maharashtra and central governments. The Student Welfare Cell helps them complete scholarship registration and prepare the required documents.

Each listed scholarship is financed by the government. Applications must be submitted through the relevant state or central portal before the deadline announced for that academic year.

JSPM NTC Campus and Infrastructure

JSPM NTC occupies a compact campus at Narhe on the Pune-Bangalore Highway, 12 km from Pune city centre. Academic blocks, laboratories, seminar halls, a central library, and sports areas are located within the campus.

Separate residential blocks accommodate male and female students. The yearly hostel charge ranges from INR 30,000 to INR 37,000 and includes lodging, mess services, and basic facilities. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, while smart classrooms provide digital teaching support. Students can use technical and management reference books, e-journals, and databases through the library.

Outdoor facilities include a cricket ground and basketball court, and an indoor games area is also available. Student-led clubs for coding, robotics, entrepreneurship, and cultural activities organise hackathons, technical programmes, and cultural festivals.

JSPM NTC vs Sinhgad College of Engineering vs Indira College of Engineering

Students comparing private engineering institutions affiliated with SPPU in Pune may consider JSPM NTC, Sinhgad College of Engineering at Vadgaon Bk, and Indira College of Engineering and Management at Parandwadi. AICTE approves all three colleges, and each uses MHT-CET results for admission through the DTE Maharashtra CAP process.

JSPM NTC is the newer autonomous option and uses an updated syllabus connected with industry needs. Its campus lies in the developing Narhe area. Sinhgad College of Engineering has operated for three decades and has a broader alumni network in Pune’s engineering sector. Located along the Pune-Mumbai bypass, Indira College of Engineering and Management attracts students from western and northern Pune. The three colleges serve a similar group of applicants, including students with MHT-CET scores between 80 and 95 percentile who want private SPPU-affiliated engineering education in Pune.
