Zakir Hussain Delhi College Evening is one of the oldest college in the Delhi University. This college have different kind of aura and have a good academic background. I have study about the allumini of the college which encourages me to enroll in this college. My noon have been studied in the scholars and they have a referred means college as this is the finance college in the Delhi University. Despite of being an off campus college, this college provide a lot of facilities and academic excellence. When I entered this college there was an orientation of freshers which was conducted on 16th of August 2023, after that there was a department orientation which was conducted after 3-4 days later of that orientation. Teachers are quite compatible they are very helpful , you won't face any problem in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum, academics and faculties are really good teachers are really very helpful ,they are very compatible. There are revised class test, presentations, assignments and lot of group projects given in the college. It seems very exciting when it comes to group discussions and the project work sometimes they also give site visit like Purana Qila in the history department. The teaching method of every teacher is different some teachers are really really very good and some are little bit negligent , the attendance in the college is quite strict. Students need to attend each and every class, the classes are conducted from Monday to Saturday.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees in this college is very affordable and according to the syllabus , what they teach is very good. We can apply for scholarship in the university , there is a form in which you can apply concession . Fees regarding this course is less as comparison to other courses in the college. Every college have different fee structure. For example political science department in Mata sundri College have higher amount of fees as compared to Zakir Hussain Delhi College Evening. There Might be some concensession on the basis of categories especially for SC and ST. There are many financial programmes from the University itself.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is good there are many society's and communities in the college which you can join and enjoy the events and I have attended Jashn-e-Aaghaz, Zeenat, Navrang and one artist also known as came into the college and performed a concert which was really enjoyable. In the second year of college they give a chance to be a executive member of the societies which will be exploring experience for the students. The month of October, November and December are the months in which most of the events and seminars happens in the college and organised by the society and different department and faculties.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility in the college. Although There is a discussion on this topic to add one but at present there is no hostel facility in this college. There is a canteen which has a good food. Rating of canteen 3/5.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
