- The Library is good in summer Library is the only place where you'd find comfort as it's fully air-conditioned. It also has power Bank wending macchine which is very rare to see in other colleges.
- The auditorium is also very nice big something you can like in your college campus , there is also a mother dairy shop which is best it sells everything realted to dairy products the canteen is not too good the food is though cheap but the taste is fine as per the price it's good.
Dislikes
- The timings and the infrastructure is very bad like so bad and it's very small campus building though there is the new 11 floor building with which is just best and one the best buliding of DU the only problem is that it's closed for many years as there in no infrastructure in the building it will get open as there is some work going on and on here and there but very slowly so once it gets open the campus and infrastructure would be the best in DU . The problem with current building is it's soooooooo old and the classroom are small broken window bad desk bad white boards and just everything is so old . Otherwise it would be great if new building gets open .
- The other bad thing about the college is it's timing as evening college the classes goes on till 9pm sometimes and the whole day of the students gets wasted as some class would be at 2 or 3 pm sone would be at 6pm some will be at 8pm so yeah the timing is worst and it's little bit far from metro station too so in summer you might face problem if you come through metro .
Remarks :
The only way to get into this college is through giving CUET (UG) exam there were no other requirements like interview, GD/PI etc. First thing to get into DU college after giving CUET is to make a good preference list in which you have to keep colleges ranking wise from best to worst and according to the course you want I had kept this college (zhdce) in somewhere in between among the preference list though I would suggest to keep it lower cause it's not the best college in DU but if you don't have many options to choose from according to your cuet score this one is perfectly fine . I did join the Coaching for general test and English but it was useless you could easily top in it just by preparing for yourself only I didn't prepare seperately for cuet as far as the main subject is concerned . There are like 5 to 6 rounds to get admission into du first 3 rounds then the 2 spot rounds then lastly mop up round
Course Curriculum Overview :
My preference was bcom(h) the best course in DU , so that's why my preference was bcom(h) so I got into bcom(h) in Zakir Husain Delhi college evening. The best thing about this college would be the fees which is very nominal for this course it was around 7600 per year . Currently I am in 2nd sem so I know something about faculty, the faculty you get is very good and experienced in their relative field it's not like that if the college is not too good so faculty will also be not good the commerce faculty especially is very experienced. Every professor have PhD in their subjects and have many articles and journals published under their some many of them has even contributed to write the book of different subjects which current students use in DU . There is no hostel facility in this college you have to get an pg but you won't find any good pg around the college as the area of the college is not too good. There are 2 semester in each year . The exams were conducted timely .
Internships Opportunities :
No currently I have not opted for any internship but soon in 3rd sem i would opt for it through placement cell only . There frequent post about the internship opportunities by the placement cell too which is very helpful for students and it saves their time to look and find the internship.
Placement Experience :
There is newly open placement cell which is working very hard to provide placement and intership to the students there is frequently updates on new internship and job possibility so yeah you wouldn't find any problem finding internship but as the placement cell has just started this year 2023 we would have too see till end of this year how would be the placements. The placement cell has though just started it has been working very hard and giving impressive results . There is also career guidance and career counseling cell which organise seminars about the careers options too .
Campus Life :
Let's start with the societies first , yes there are many good societies in the college the top ones are commerce society ( Sarmaya ) which I am part of they have their annual event explorica too , and it's one of the most old and successful society of the college then , theatre society (Aaghaz) the best society i would say the oldest and the most successful for their work. The NCC and NSS is also very nice and top society or organisation.Then many good one like English literature society, political science society (neetisar), environment society ( panchtatva) , women development cell, arts and culture society which includes dance society, music society. These are new ones I guess cause their followers in insta is not much but yet they are doing great work, photography society ( chhavi) etc . There is sports ground in college , the library is good too , the college has annual fest zeenat . 2 computer labs in the college one seminar room . Most students live in Laxmi nagar pg .

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
