Remarks :
When I was deciding on which college to attend, Smt . Kashibai Navale College of Engineering Pune Stood out for few reasons . First, the college had a strong reputation for its academic, especially in engineering field. It was also known for having good infrastructure and a well connected alumni network. The location in Pune , a city known for its educational opportunities and tech industry presence, was another plus. It felt like a place where I could not only study but also grow professionally through internship and industry exposure. For my admission , I had to clear MHT-CET . There was no group discussion or interview process specifically for admission into engineering program ; it was primarily based on merits and the entrance exam score. The cot-off for my stream was competitive, but with solid preparation , I was able to make it through.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose to pursue Electronics and Telecommunication because of its broad scope in both hardware and software. The course at college had a well structured curriculum that covered both foundational and advanced topics. The academic environment was generally positive. I picked E&TC because i have always been fascinated by how electronic devices communicate with each other and how networks are established. Plus, E&TC provides a wide range of career options, from embedded systems to telecommunication and even IT industry also. The faculty in the E&TC department was quite experienced. Most professors held advanced degrees which added depth to their teaching. The best professors were the ones who emphasized understanding and encouraged us to ask questions and think critically. Term exams were conducted on time, and the schedule was generally well-organized, allowing us enough time to prepare between exams. The difficulty level of the exams was moderate, some subjects were difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
I completed an internship as a Web Developer Intern at Elite Softwares in Pune from Jan 2023 to March 2023. During this time, i worked on developing and maintaining web applications using python and Django framework. My role involved both front-end and back-end development. I created dynamic web pages with HTML and Django templating, which improved the user experience by 30 5. Additinally, I optimized back-end code, enhancing application performance by 20 5. I collaborated with a team to integrate APIs and manage database operations. Key skills i gained include Python, Django and HTML.
Placement Experience :
Placements at our college were decent but skewed towards certain branches. For Electronics and Telecommunication, students needed a CGPA of around 6.5 and to clear aptitude tests to be eligible for placements. Recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture and Cognizant visited, offering roles primarily in IT and Software. The highest package was about 12 LPA, with an average around 3.5-4 LPA. Approximately 60 to 70 % of E&TC students didn't got any placements. Post Graduation was not my plan so i did plan to either work in the IT industry with my programming knowledge i gained along side degree in E&TC or to work for some of the renowned cloud computing companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So as i belong to OBC category, in 1st year i paid about 65000 Rs as tuition fees, 5000 Rs as caution fees, 2000 Rs as registration fees, and other fees sum up to 5000 Rs. This was variable over the 4 years of timespan such as in 2nd year the tuition fee was 56000 Rs, in 3rd year it was about 56256 Rs and in the final year it was 56580 Rs. Talking about fees, it was variable for all the castes like the students of SC/ST category had to pay near about 11000 Rs per year. The scholarships that were available for students were Post matric scholarship for OBC category and the amount was about 55000 Rs, Panjab Rao Deshmukh scholarship for students having farming background from Open category and the amount was 30000 Rs.
Campus Life :
Life on campus at college is vibrant and dynamic. The social life is enriched with various clubs, technical societies, and events that cater to different interests. Major fests like "Zeal", held in February, bring students together for cultural, technical, and sports activities. The library is well stocked with books and journals, providing ample resources for research and study. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities like projectors and Wi-Fi, making the learning environment comfortable. The campus encourages sports, with facilities for cricket, football, alongside extracurricular activities like debates, hackathons, and workshops. There are student run clubs like the Robotics Club and the IEEE student branch, offering opportunities for peer interaction and skill development.
Hostel Facilities :
I rented a flat in the campus area of Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, which was quite convenient. Being close to the college made commuting easy, and the locality had all the basic amenities needed for student life. The rent was 12500 Rs for 2bhk.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.
CSD at KKWIEER: A perfect blend of tech and creativity

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

Placement Experience :
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
