- The second thing is it's in Chandigarh and a good campus Life .
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is really old and bad.
- The faculty is not very good and I have to attend lectures on my own.
Remarks :
I prepared for JEE and scored 99 percentile to get computer science in this college . Placements are great and big companies come in this college for hiring . Also Chandigarh is a good city so that is also a factor.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is same as of IITs . Faculty is not good so u have to study on your own . The course is not too difficult and academics is good. I chose this course obviously because it provides good opportunities.
Internships Opportunities :
For now I have not opted for any internship opportunities but internship opportunities are great in this college. Companies like JP morgan come to hire interns with a good stipend of around 80 thousand per month .
Placement Experience :
The placements is one of reasons why I joined this college. Placements in this college are really good . Big companies like Google Microsoft comes in this college for hiring students . Highest package in 2023 was 80 Lakhs and average package was 22 laks for computer science .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees is 200000 per year and hostel fees is 80000 per year . Scholarship provided to merit students and financially backward students. Fees is less for quota students like schedule castes and scheduled tribes .
Campus Life :
Campus Life is pretty good . There are many clubs in the college in which you can enroll according to your interests . Infrastructure is not that good since the college is very old . PECFEST is conducted every year .Sports meet is also held annually.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels in this college are not good and mess food is also average. The rooms are very small . Also I think fees is pretty high according to the rooms they are providing . Hostel mess fees is 4000 per month so I guess it's also pretty high.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Placements are average on comparison with other private colleges around here Highest package this year - 11.3Lpa The teachers help very much in placements and internship . The TPC cell of the college is dead for their work

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
