Remarks :
good aspects are that there's good placement for students also good for student's skill development, also the seniors are very nice with freshers. bad things could include some lab machines not working and hostel's sanitary conditions. admission process includes josaa covering and physical reporting afterwards with proper documents
Course Curriculum Overview :
in 1st year subjects are same for all branches, in 1st semester half the branches get some subjects and other branches get the rest. teachers are helpful and nice to talk to, semester exams were taken after 2 months regularly (holidays excluded). they were moderately difficult.
Placement Experience :
placements are good, as we heard many seniors places themselves at good companies having nice package. in electronics, in 2024 65% students were placed and is growing per year. other branches are also placed nearly this percentage
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
year wise fee would get upto 3.3 lakhs including tuition and hostel, also the half fee scholarship for sc st students begins after 1st year. mess meal charges are applied monthly and it round upto 3200 per month. hostel also changes after a year
Campus Life :
pecfest is most awaited and exciting fest of the year and Chandigarh lasts upto 3 days, many technical and cultural clubs participate in this fest, so much more club competitions, after party, trips and more. library also has nice environment and books to read and lend. sports conditions are good but gym equipments are missing and too crowded. all clubs are mentioned in pec website
Hostel Facilities :
hostel mess food is good overall. the sweet dishes are also good. hostel registration is done with physical reporting. hostel and mess fee is kind of expensive compared to the hostel room and washroom conditions

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
