I just had to give CUET and then appear in DU counselling. There were no GD/PI. I got this college in 1st round so I freezed it. There were some flwas in my preference list so I decided not to participate in subsequent rounds.
The faculty is very good. They teach us very well. Practical as well as theoretical knowledge provided here is top notch. Exams are conducted once every semester. Practical exams are also conducted. Internal assessment goes on throughout the semester.
Internships are plenty too. They offer same roles like HR, Sales, Research, etc. It is easy to get Internship because of that DU TAG. We can get internships from college as well as outside too. Overall, opportunities are many, we just need to look for them and grab them.
Average package this year was 6.5LPA. Highest was 21.5LPA. Mostly BCom and BCom hons students get placement from college. Others get less jobs. Main job roles are HR, Sales, Marketing, Research. Students who score more than 7CGPA sit for campus placement. Top recruiters are Big Four, L&T, GT, Deloitte, etc.
The fees for 1st year is 15675, it reduces a bit in 2nd and 3rd year. It has increased in past years. We do have to fill exam form for each semester which would cost you around 1500 depending upon your course. But, yes the avg fees is 15000 per year.
Fest is not conducted here. Library is too good. But the only downside is that seating area is limited. Books, journals, Newspapers, all are present. Sports is also there but right now there is construction going on in the playground. Societies are numerous and very good. As we all know that societies are heart of DU, they justify this statement. Enactus, FIC, Placement Cell, Nuke,Etc. societies provide a whole new experience.
Hostel Facility is not available. PG, Flats are plenty near college. They are quite affordable too. (There is no option to put hostel fees as zero so I am putting is as 101. please note no Hostel Facility is there.)
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
