The only requirement for the admission was CUET exam. No GD or PI was conducted. The college is very good except for the strictness that we face. We have to maintain 67 percent attendance even if we are preparing for CA, Other exams, no fests are conducted and if they are conducted, a whole lot of restrictions follow.
The course curriculum is however really good after NEP. Practical knowledge is now more preferred and we have to study subjects like Negotiations and Leadership, Personality Development, Cyber Security, Sports, etc.
Internships are provided in 2nd and 3rd year but based on one's skills, he/she can get Internship in 1st year too. The roles are HR, MARKETING, SALES, RESEARCH, etc. Students can get Internships from outside the campus too.
Placement and Internship opportunities are plenty here. One can get Internship easily. Placement scene is also quite good. The highest package this year was 21,00,000 and average one was 6,00,000. The top companies are GT, WIPRO, OYO. Job roles are HR, SALES, MARKETING AND RESEARCH.
The fees has increased a bit over past 3 years. But I feel it is still pretty affordable for a college in Delhi University. We can get a fees refund in second year. It depends upon our reservation category. Also we can avail Student Aid Fund if we are eligible.
Life at campus is pretty good and peaceful too. Fest is not conducted however one is being conducted this year. The library is impressive except that it has limited seating space. Books are plenty and of every type. There are a whole lot of societies too.
No hostel provided here. But you can find a lot of PGs and Flats all around the college in every budget segment. There no Hostel Facility but I have to enter a value in the fees section. So, please don't confuse.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
