- Statue of shaheed bhagat singh! shaheed bhagat singh statue is situated at the front of the college which is the heart of SBSC
- Campus life becomes interesting and good because of different societies of the college
Dislikes
- infrastructure the E block have not much facilities as compared with other block of the college
- the water collant and water availability is not good at all it need improvement!
Remarks :
Flexible timing, infrastructure is very good and the faculty is also good and placement cell is very active, many students of our college is placed under Big 4 which is very good for their future and future perspective
Course Curriculum Overview :
The bachelor of commerce is 3years course and consists of 6semester which include practical subjects like GST and income tax as well which is very practical subjects for students for their future job and their goal
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i have opted for G20 intership where stipend for a day was 1000/- per day and the intership is of 10days duration the experience of this intership was very good and unique and also my colleague are selected for the intership as well
Placement Experience :
The placement cell of shaheed bhagat singh college is very active and good. They brings Very good companys in the college for placement and jobs as well as Interships and Arcticleship and Big 4 companies also came at the campus!
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
7800/- yearly 10300 2nd year and 14800/- 3rd year fees and concession are also available for quotas student and category students which is being claim by filling and submitting the form at nodal office
Campus Life :
smart classrooms and big grounds are the main reason for good life at the campus and also canteen is good, the food and refreshments products are available at reasonable prices and the quality of food is also very well
Hostel Facilities :
Shaheed bhagat singh college does not have the hostel facilities but the PG and flats are available near the college at resonable prices and fully furnished flats are also available near college and in front of the college

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
