Uiet Chandigarh College Review
Remarks :
There are many factors but one of the biggest factor was that to a choose a college that provide you enough opportunities both academically and non academically. Admission are done on the basis of your result in Jee Main.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is a bit old age, But over all it is ok. Some of the subjects they are teaching without any reasons. Faculties are very helpful and supporting. you can clear your doubts any time when your face problem.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship in 2nd year of my college which was provided by college itself. It helped me accuring multiple skillset. You acn also get off campus intership in college. And help us in overall development
Placement Experience :
Placement are overall good, around 80% of student get placed every year. Placement are good in Cs/It and Ece branch but in core branches placement are bit lower they usually for gate or government exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is around 125000-130000 apart from this there is a exam fees of 3000 per semester. You can avail different type of scholarship both at university level and state level. The fees of our course is already mentioned and there is a fee increment of around 10% every year.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good, as Uiet being a part of panjab university. It provides all the facilities of panjab university. There is healthy friendly culture in college. Many different clubs are present for each domain as you can build many connections. And learn all the important skills for your overall personality development. Now, if I talk about infrastructure it not that up to the mark. Buildings are made as old design. As Uiet is self financed institute so it has very less capital for its infrastructure.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food is good if you compare them with other engineering colleges. Online application is done for hostel allotment. Very less no. Of student hostel inside the campus. So be prepare live outside at pg or flat but it is not that big problem as they are available at very reasonable price.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Placement Experience :
The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
