- The International Hostel Mess is very good and hygenic and tasty.
- Clubs are inclusive and supportive. They help us grow.
Dislikes
- E Rickshaws are not readily available to travel across the super large campus.
- Hostel Bathroom Geysers need some improvement.
Remarks :
JEE basis admission. College is reputed and comes under Panjab University. Chandigarh is an amazing location. Hostels are however, alloted on merit basis, so most people have to opt for pg accommodations or pvt hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is balanced and plenty significance is given to IT topics like coding. Faculty is incredibly experienced, with professors who have taught at MIT on their request and more. Academics is nice and challenging and will help prepare for the placements
Internships Opportunities :
No. I have not taken up any internship programme as of now. I plan to participate soon, in the second semester, as more opportunities present themselves when people wait. However, some of my friends have undertaken such programmes and the tasks involve programming, presentations, notes making and in some cases, research.
Placement Experience :
Ample job opportunities, owing to the experiences one gains when here. Plenty companies come, and hire students and train them to enhance productivity and efficiency. HCL, Amazon and Myntra were some previous companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Fees is around 1.2 lac per year, with 84200 taken for tuition in 2 installments of 42100 each. This is for the general quota students. Many scholarship programs are available to those who need it and also to those who can earn it. Internship programmes are also available.
Campus Life :
Clubs for each person is available as per a person's interest. Euphoria, Odessey, even coding clubs and automation clubs are available. One needs to get through interviews and tests to get through. SAE (Automation ) is a famous club here.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is affordable, tasty and hygienic. Food at the International Hostel is in itself a treat. Multiple shops and canteens are scattered across the campus, providing tasty and cheap meals. Chole Bhature and Lassi is the best.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
