- Faculty members are very nice . They listen to you and your problems and try to help you
- College life is good as there are many events you can participate in , mad enjoy it to your fullest
Dislikes
- Infrastructure of college is not so good . There are no AC in rooms where classes of furst year are held . There is so much grass around the college area which is not cut regularly
- It is very difficult to get hostel for students whose number in merit list is at last . Not even 50 percent students get the hostel
Remarks :
I choose the after seeing number of students being placed after fourth year . For admission you have to give jee mains exam and cut off for cse branch this year was 95 percentile. And there were no another written test other than jee mains you just have to report at the college after the allocation of your branch For the bad aspect of the college its infrastructure is not that good also its difficult to get hostel as no of seats in hostel are limited and you get hostel on the basis of your merit in your respective branch
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty here is highly qualified , most of the faculty members are PhD scholars and many are pursuing PhD. For teaching methods they provide the soft copy of books and teachers explain them through their notes . For first BE every brach has do work in workshop and their are total eight workshop . Every workshop has assistant teacher.Our course started in august and our minor 1 exams our in October . As we have not given any exams right now so can't say about the difficulty level bit according to our seniors axam level is moderate
Internships Opportunities :
As I just joined the college so i have no experience about internship. But according to seniors there are not much college internship available but you can take part in various hackathons and get the participation certificate
Placement Experience :
There are many companies that come gor placements every year like google, infosis, American express, loreal, etc. some companies don't have particular criteria for placement but some companies opply allow students to sit for interview who has a cgpa of 9 or above. Highest package offered was 42 lpa and average is 8 lpa overall about 87 % students get placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
95000-tuition fees , 6500-caution fees, 5500-registration fees, 40000-admission, 3200-per semester examination fees which is increasing every year, 12000 per year hostel fees without food for permanent residence and 50000 per year hostel fees without food for students on guest basis which is by the way increasing every year
Campus Life :
Youth festival which is conducted in October. Goonj festival conducted in February. Library of uiet is open from 9 to 5 but library of pu is open 24/7 . There are many sports event that occur time to time which can be inter branch or inter section . There are many tech and non tech club ehich include dance , music, bhangra, social clubs , DIC club, SAE

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
