Remarks :
When I was in 8or 9 class my elder brother got seat in UIET Chandigarh and from there I came to know about this college At my time when I was in my last terms of the 12 I have given the exam of JEE from there I got around 5lakh rank and I have filled JAC Councelling for uiet chandigarh and I have got.swst in the college in BE biotechnology branch
Course Curriculum Overview :
As my rank was low but I chandigarh as a city that's why I have opted for this course else I can also take drop like other children Our academic curriculum is divided into odd and even semester and it's easy and very much good as compared to any other Nit/IIT as we get some extra time to grow other skills that we are interested in and do some extra curricular activities Our faculties/professor are well qualified to control the rookie students of 1st year And they are very much educated as well as good at there work which reflects that they have year of experience in there work
Internships Opportunities :
As iam in 1st year and I have not opted for any internship till date so in future iam looking towards it So there is many internship opportunities present there like you can do internship for TEDx, and pu pulse and etc
Placement Experience :
Placements are good enough in our college companiesike tcs,wipro, american express, gemini solutions and many other well known companies visit there and for more information you can visit at website of UIET Actually iam oriented towards govt job so iam not interested in placement and if I will have interest towards coding in future then I will go for rubrik off campus
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As our fees is around 121855rs let us discuss its breakthrough in 1st installment we have filled around 40k at the time of registration and 2nd installment was given at the time of December that was around 81855rs for 1st year There is not any type of relaxation of fees for SC/ST except Tution fee weaver students There are many types of scholarship present in our college for tfw student as well as tests are also conducted for the scholarship
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very much fun loving and good as our campus is situated in the area of 3 sectors of chandigarh and life there is very much fun there are well maintained buildings rose garden for couples to enjoy and a student centre(stuC) where our DSW Dean student welfare sits and president (Anurag dalal) also warna his chair there Our college have many types of clubs like sports committee, macboard, debsoc, imagen, dic and etc
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I am having 1st Waiting in hostel and in short time I will get my. Get but still I visit my friends hostel and life there is next to heaven So the hostel fees is around 6500/semester and 6500 is security money that would be written at the end of 8th semester hostels are well designed for 2 students/room clean to be stayed good washrooms you can apply for it during physical reporting in the college after registration

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
