Remarks :
I just came by for this college rather you can say I came by mistake to discover it but yeah I chose it because it's fees was less compared to other colleges and the admission and all was good but they do shifting and all of the courses when they don't have seat and then try to make the students go back to their courses because many students do leave their courses for various reasons.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I can't say a lot about as I just entered the second year but now I feel the course is coming on track the faculty is qualified and best at their work the teaching is also good The term exams are good they are good not too much difficult not very easy in between if you can just study only for 1 or 2 hour a day it is more than enough to get good marks .
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet the intership we get around the 4th sem and after they are good but yeah you can be asked to travel far of just for intership but the seniors recommend that you may do your intership by urself that would be much easy and convenient.
Placement Experience :
Placements are average personally for me it's like that what you see while surfing the internet for the college but if you are good enough mean like very good you can get placements like of 10 to 15 lakhs but the average placements are like 5 to 7 lakhs if you are an average student for btech it's average but for mba it's good here students get placed at reasonable packages For bca it's poor here like 3 to 5 lakhs as low as they can be We don't get notified that much about the placement companies and all so yeah that's all
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The normal tution fees is 64150 per sem ans yes they give scholarship but the claiming procedure for it after the first sem is difficult you have to try very hard ti avail it and it depends on the cell whether they approve it or not and also if you include the extra expenses by the college that you have to do the fees can go maximum upto 70000 per sem .
Campus Life :
Everything is good here the fest is being carried whole year children having quality can get their breakthrough here all types of hackathon sih and all goes on Books are available the Library is average not too much books and journals but the course related are present Sports and all other activities are very good here you can take forward your abilities if you are good enough
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel was pretty good but they do like shifting and stuff so I can't be certain that you may be at one place for the rest of your time in the college but the other things are quite good the food is good enough for mess food wifi and all is good here strictness is also there and yeah you can apply for it in the campus and the fees for the hostel till my time was 55000 for non ac And 75000 for ac rooms per sem .

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
