Remarks :
Infrastructure, academics, patient exposure were the main factors. Moreover the college is close to my hometown ( Guwahati) compared to other AIIMS established in 2012 Well I did not face any discussion or interviews for admission. But certainly you need to crack NEET UG with a good rank to secure admission. For general the cut off is around AIR 500 The only bad aspect is the lack of student activity center and lack of proper sports infrastructure as compared to other AIIMS. The weather is also harsh from April to June
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well I chose this course as I always wanted to become a doctor...The faculties are highly qualified and learning about their clinical and professional experience is a blessing. The faculties mostly use PowerPoint presentations in classes which I feel is a bit boring . Internals are held once in 3 months( mid sems and end sems) and professional exams are held 4 times during MBBS. Exams are mostly based on previous year questions but hectic as they are held continously on consecutive days. It is essential to study everyday to pass with flying colours
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees is 5856. It includes all tuition fees , registration fees, admission fees, lab fees and other compulsory fees. You just have to give a demand draft at the time of your admission and that's it.
Campus Life :
We have Chiasma as our annual fest encompassing a large number of activities from academic, literary, sports and cultural conducted in February or March. It is the largest college fest in East India. Also we have WISSEN a med fest that focuses on medical education. Besides many celebrations are held in the campus all year round for different festivals. Library is mainly confined to medical literature and a bit smaller size. We have a central library for books , reading rooms and a E library as well... Lecture theatres are well equipped fitted with air conditioners. Among the 4 lecture theatres two are very big while other two are small and slightly less spacious Sports facilities are decent. We have provision of volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court and a small lawn for football and cricket We have different committees ( cultural, literary, sports ) under the students association. Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is decent better than state medical colleges. Total cost of breakfast lunch and dinner is around 200 in a day. Hostel rooms are also decent. You get to live in double occupancy followed by single rooms from 2nd year

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
