Obviously, it is every child's dream to study in a medical institute like AIIMS. To get admission in BSc course in AIIMS, you have to go through the entrance exam. This exam is held every year, which is conducted by AIIMS New Delhi. The name of this exam is AIIMS Bsc Paramedical Entrance Exam. In this exam, you are asked 90 questions, which are 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus which is actually upto your 12th class syllabus. Talking about cutoff, it varies according to each category, like 50% for general, 45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST Category etc., for more information you can visit the official website of AIIMS, www.aiimsexams.ac.in. Its admission process is also very easy, if you get a good rank. When you get admission, you will be informed in advance about the entire admission process on their official website. The reason for my choosing is specifically based on its NIRF ranking criteria is a good aspect for me.
I joined this course because I was very interested in the radiology field, and secondly, it requires a lot of interaction with patients, as compared to other courses in this paramedical field.. If a student gets selected here, he will gain a lot of knowledge from here, because all the faculty here have achieved many things in their life, from Bsc/MBBS to Masters, PG then PhD and then the journey to research experience. Teaching facilities are the best here. The term exams held here are conducted timely as per the academic calendar. According to me, the difficulty level of which ranges from easy to a little difficult. But it depends on how you have studied for the exam according to your needs.
Currently I'm not enrolled in internship as I'm a 2nd year student now. But you are made to do an internship here. During the internship, your full confidence builds up, because you are studying in AIIMS, and here all kinds of patients will come to you, to get treated or diagnosed by you! A good amount of internship money is also given like a normal top college.
If we talk about placements, there are no placements after getting a BSc or MBBS degree. However, if you are graduating from AIIMS, you will have a degree from a valuable institute and the recruiters will approach you themselves. But if you want to know more details, you can visit the NIRF website and see everything related to placements...

When you come here to take admission, after admission is done, you are allotted a hostel at the same time. The infrastructure of the hostel is also very good, although the new hostel is the best when compared to the old hostel. The food available in the hostel is also good, it is not like home but overall the food is served by maintaining good hygiene. The most important thing is that there is no charge for staying in the hostel, all this is covered in the fees mentioned above. However, if you want to stay outside near the campus, you can stay in PG, there are many facilities here too.
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
