- No air conditioners in class No mic No speakers in classroom
Remarks :
It is a government medical college. I had to crack NEET UG - 2023 for it. I got a Rank of 15614 out of 22 lakh students appeared for the exam. This college has good academics as compare to other colleges of chattisgarh
Course Curriculum Overview :
Ok so if you are doing mbbs the curriculum is definitely going to be hectic, so the curriculum is hectic and you can’t pass the exams without studying Monthly we have PCT which stands for part competition test of every subject First semester ( 2 theory exams of each subject and 1 practical exam ) Second semester Pre University exam (PU) University exams All the faculties teaching here are well qualified doctors and they teach us to their best Well sometimes as the place is not that occupied with things like metro cities department usually get short of faculties but they always complete our syllabus on time
Internships Opportunities :
My college has its own hospital , so you have to do internship there You will get a stipend of 15000 to 20000 per month You will get a good patient count here as it is the major hospital in Bastar . You will learn under well qualified doctors and your duty might expect end upto 48 to 72 hours
Placement Experience :
The course itself include an internship of 1 year in which you will be paid 15k to 20k. After that there is a bond of 2 years in which you will be paid 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh salary monthly and you will work as a junior doctor. All doctors get placement , India is already lack of doctors . I will do post graduation and prepare for NEET PG for that , again a tough competitive exam and if I can’t clear it in first attempt I will do my bond here

Campus Life :
Every festival is celebrated here like Ganesh Chaturthi ( 7 days celebration including Dj night , Bollywood night , pandal celebration ) Navratri is celebrated Sports day is held once a year And congrats junior from this year a fest will also be held like oriana of aiims Rishikesh Classrooms have : Projectors , chalk board , fans Don’t have : Air conditioners, mic system We have 3 Lecture theatres in college and 1 in hospital 1 examination hall We have 2 libraries - equipped with all the essential book a medico can need . The college lag behind in sport activities but a sports day is celebrated with many sport activities once a year
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I opted for a hostel room The procedure is quite simple , after admission you need to meet the warden, she will give you a form in which you have to paste your passport size photograph and you will get a room in the hostel . You have to share your room with one of your classmate obviously girl. The hostel charges are included in the fee you pay yearly . We have 3 mess here, you can eat from whichever you want , both veg and non veg food are available They will charge 2700 monthly

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.
