Remarks :
My house is near the college which is a plus point for me. Also the connected hospital has a good patient rush which will be beneficial at my internship. Also there is a good amout of faculty. I cleared neet to get in this college which is an objective based exam In 2023 its cutoff was Gen-530 Obc- 521 ST- 314 Sc- 425
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course coz its MBBS obvio who doesn't want it. Teaching faculties have considerably decreased in 1st year as compared to previous years but overall practicals plus theory combo helps in learning and also the pressure to learn Also helps. We have 2 term exam each year in a gap of 3-4 months then a Pre university and university
Internships Opportunities :
After completing 4 years of college you have to join a year of internship in the same hospital. You cannot work anywhere else. You get a stipend of 15,900 per month during the whole internship and you work as an intern in the hospital
Placement Experience :
Theres no placement in this college. You have to serve a 2 year bond in the state after completing college. If you wanna opt for PG then you have to study while completing the bond. So no placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During the time of admission I submitted 40,000 tution fees and 10,000 admission fees. Then in 2nd year my tution fees is 44,600/- only. If you have any category then you can avail scholarships available.
Campus Life :
We don't have fests in the campus till now but small festivals like ganesh chaturthi, navratri is celebrated very well. In sports theres an annual sports event every year called "Hustle". In Library you only get your course related books
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are for 2 people provided with 2 bed, 2 table chairs and a seperate shelf. The hostel fees is 3500/- excluding mess. We have three mess out of which 1 is pure veg. Mess fees is 2600-2700/- per month. The food is....... Well edible. There's restricted PG options in the locality. Its either in padripani which is 1 km away or in city which is 10 km away.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
