- The infrastructure is very nice having 3 floors , separate lecture halls and practical labs for each department and dissection hall for anatomy. Campus is very big having separate girls and boys hostel, college hospital, teachers quarters, staff quarters, a big auditorium and rest room guest.
- Faculties are well qualified and supportive, strict too for the betterment of students. They want discipline among the students for which they make us follow strict rules and maintain punctuality.
Dislikes
- Inside the college lacks Mic and sound system the presence of which would add something better in teaching methods As well as the classes should be air conditioned as increasing temperature should not be a reason of distraction.
- Number of faculties should be more for proper and efficient working of the system.
Remarks :
This is a government medical college. To get admission student need to clear the cutoff of National eligibility cum entrance test(NEET).I cleared this exam in 2023 when the obc cutoff was around 555 There are numerous coachings which teach for NEET exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
Pursuing MBBS will lead us to become a medical graduate ultimately a doctor. The faculties here are very well qualified doctors who have appreciable knowledge and experience in their respective subjects. Teaching methods are also nice which includes using chalk and duster as well as projector for theory classes as well as practical is held on separate and multiple labs for each subjects. The faculties as well as lab attendants guide the students to perform the practicals properly. There are frequent hospital visits, clinical postings too for different subjects to the hospital and field as well as village visits for PSM.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am in 2nd year pursuing my MBBS After completing the 4 academic year we will be provided internship in the college hospital which would be of 1 year under the supervision of experienced doctors as well as junior residents
Placement Experience :
Students get internship here in the college hospital itself after completing their 4 academic years of MBBS. There are JRs and other experienced doctors who guide the interns and let them learn with the best available resources.

Campus Life :
Different festivals are celebrated here inside the campus such as Ganesh chaturthi,Holi,Garba night very auspiciously. Apart from these different academic competitions sucha s quizzes are conducted multiple times in a year. Different sports are also conducted in which faculties along with students also take part with full zeal and excitement. There is library and separate reading area with large accommodation. Library has different medical books both old and new edition of various national as well as international authors. The reading area is well maintained with air conditioning and proper ventilation. Different medical science related magazines are also available here.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 3 separate girls hostel inside the campus for students. The hostel fees is Rs.3500 per year quite affordable as it is a government medical college. There are 3 separate mess as well , one in each hostel but the students can eat wherever they want.The mess fees I separately taken every month with price ranging from Rs.2500-Rs.3000. The quality of food is nice, satisfactory.They provide Roti,Dal,Rice, different sabzi. Different breakfast are also provided. The registration process for hostel is done during the time of admission.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
