Good government college with decent placements and low fees

- Faculty are well experienced here and knowledgeable

- Infrastructure is not good cause it's old
- Classroom isn't that good cause no AC which is not good in summer
Remarks :
I chose this college cause of its placement and affordable fess, and thus my main reason was ROI of this college.Its location is also quite good and we all know that chandigarh city is quite good. Weather is also good here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All faculty here are qualified for the course. Teaching method here is very old and it's not good.Term exams are conducted timely so no problem in that. Difficulty level is normal. We also have minors which are also timely.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is quite limited here only topers get that so we have to try off campus for internship.
Placement Experience :
Placement eligibility criteria is around 6 cgpa for most of the companies and some company have 9 or 8 cgpa as criteria. Tcs,Wipro, Infosys, American Express, Accenture, Mahindra Tech and ZS Associates are some recruiters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
121855 is yearly fees and will be constant for 2024-2028 batch. Registration fees for jac chandigarh was 2700. There was a document verification fees of 5500. Thers is a examination fee of 3200 for University Exam. Fees is same for all students except TFWs students.
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is decent but old. Fest happens quite often cause UIET is in Panjab University so we can attend all fests. There are 2 library, UIET library and university library and we can go to both. UIET library is small but good. There are many clubs
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is very old and isn't maintained. Mess is above average and canteen is good. Menu is mostly of North Indian food and it's only veg . Only egg is served in canteen which isn't veg. Room are spacious but old.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
