- Hostel getting is a big problem to start with
- Don't involve in election it will ruin your time and efforts
Remarks :
There were no group discussion , interviews you have to qualify jee mains exam and you can take admission this is the minimum criteria to join rest lateral entry are also available for 2 nd year onwards through college own exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am a student of electronics and communication engineering the curriculum is simple all branch have same subject in first year for second year onwards your subject changes little by little and teachers are too good
Placement Experience :
Placements are not good I say company visit but the number of student are very less to get placement, it's decent like 60-70 percent student get placed . Internship is also decent enough but you should try off campus
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure follow same 8 semester rule there is a variability in fees in one year the approximation is about of 1 lakh and it's affordable there are lots of charges if not paid and charges are too much
Campus Life :
University institute big but college is not that much big you will get lot of diversity over here as all states students come and join and exposure is good like research seniors are also good very helpful
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't got the hostel yet but soon I will get You have to bring good enough rank to get hostel as only 30% of student get hostels , hostel procedure is provided by the college as you get the hostel

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
