Good college but need to improve

- I like the environment and the teachers staff of college.
- Fees is very affordable and scholarship scheme were also there
Dislikes
- College campus is very small. They only have 3 blocks
- Use of lifts are prohibited for students and they use stairs only.
Remarks :
Overall college is good but some aspects some areas will need to improve. Teachers are very helpful classes are clean and has projectors. But one thing that is need to get sorted is that the students are more now but the classes are less students didn't find free classes to sit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course offers wide range of career opportunities and it's easy to go abroad after doing this. Teacher and the syllabus of the course is very good, everything they teach in course it will help us in the industry.
Internships Opportunities :
I did my internship in marriot hotel for 22 weeks that is almost 2 months. Stipend offer by the company is 5000. As an industrial trainee I worked in all 4 departments for the period of one month and get the knowledge about industry.
Placement Experience :
College has conducted job fairs for student placements. Intership programs were there for students. Companies like marriot, Taj, oberoi, Ramada offers jobs in job fair. They offer salary upto 20000 per month.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My yearly fees is 50000 rupees that is 24912 Rupees per semester 3600 will be tuition fees Scholarship scheme has also there gu test is conducted and Matrix scholarship is also there for scholarship students.
Campus Life :
There are alot of functions are conducted in college like baisakhi mela , diwali mela and many more. Singer were invited for the performances and food court were there students and teachers came and enjoy it together. Sports events were also conducted.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
