- Classes and halls are very good and structured having a very cool surrounding to study
- i enjoyed a lot as a student and also learnt a lot during this 4 years of time span
Dislikes
- college didn't had a good playing ground or playing room.
- i personally dont like the teaching ways of some of the faculty members and the fee structure of the college
Remarks :
The representative have visited to my college for advertising for their college, I listened to them and came to a conclusion that this college is ideal for me as what i want to study further the college have all of it and all the facilities and courses that I'm looking for and also i researched about that college and talked to the alumini of this college i got positive feedback from them. They have an entrance test named GU-set based on the result of the test they provide scholarship to student but i didn't attended that as i got scholarship based on my 12th grade percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
About course curriculum i must say the curriculum is quiet too old and they don't have much opportunities to offer to students when i used to study there. i'm not sure about now. Some of the Faculty members are very well educated and very good teacher but also they have some teachers who only have the degree but don't know hoe to teach. about fees and scholarship they charge too much fee.
Internships Opportunities :
yes i have opted for an internship but not in college rather off campus i did 60 days of internship in MERN stack building ecommerce website and many more using MERN technology. i made many project like a resume builder, a multiplayer game, an ecommerce website etc.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job guarantee is nowhere but still college managed to give placement to all the student of my batch but minimum criteria for the placement is that you must have a good marks in 12th grade. some of the companies that visited during my placement batch like mahindra, Gna gears, swaraj , applify etc . almost 70% of students got places
Campus Life :
Life at campus was amazing, socially i met with various people made hundreds of friends. the infrastructure of the college is quiet good and clean. i have participated into may clubs of various groups in college

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
