Remarks :
It's huge campus is one of the biggest reason to join this college.being a government college also provides an edge and it's nirf ranking in architecture is pretty good. To enroll yourself in b arch course in any of the nits you have to score a good percentile in jee mains paper 2
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to pursue architecture from a very long time and I got the opportunity to study in a government college none other than nit Hamirpur. The curriculum is more theoretical based which I personally don't prefer. Some faculties are really educated and have great knowledge. First midsems were held in the starting of october and level is normal
Placement Experience :
Highest package in my department architecture is about ?600000 as architecture is not money based profession it's for passionate people. Average salary being 400000.about 70% of the students were placed in campus placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees only for the course b arch is around 1,95,000 per year . The mess and the hostel fees for one semester is around 40,000. The fees of sc st are really low compared to obc and general. It's not sure that the fees is increasing or not
Campus Life :
The biggest fest named hillfair is conducted in the month of October preferably before diwali. Books are available except new and modern books In the first sem you are not allowed to freely be a part of any club or explore campus life that much. Biggest problem being ton of restrictions
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is ok ok. Cleanliness in hostel is a different level of problem. Otherwise the food is very nice compared to what is known that hostel mess food is not good at all but i love the food here. Quality of food is nice. Infrastructure is ok.after the admission you will be allotted hostel rooms of you prefer.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
