- The environment around the campus is very green which gives fresh vibes
- Faculty members behave really well with everyone
Dislikes
- If you have serious health issues then there is no proper government hospital in gunupur and you need to travel 97 km to get a proper treatment.
- Language is one of the problem as there local language is odia.
Remarks :
As located in a remote area gunupur the environment is fresh for students for focusing on studies even if we don't get much modern city exposure but we get isolation environment to develop our personality as an efficient engineer and i got admission on my board percentage
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed CSE data science as technology is now a days leading industries and every thing requires data arrangement and data analysis talking about the qualification of teachers most of them have done p.hd in their respective fields or at least they have a masters degree Style of teaching is very good we have projectors in each class rooms to present the idea practically Talking about the exam difficulty level they are easy to moderate and all the questions are relevant to the topic.
Internships Opportunities :
As i first year student i haven't opted for any internship but talking with seniors they have told one of them got internship in ZSCALER with 10000 every month getting internship was a little tough job as told by seniors.
Placement Experience :
Students after 5th semester are eligible for placement the placement percentage is 90 as claimed by the college this year the highest package was 26LPA for cse department and average package is 6lpa my plan after completing degree is to try for campus placement of around 12LPA or I'll try off campus as well.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee is 191000 without scholarship Scholarship they provide are merit based in which you need to get rank under 20 in GIETEE then your total annual fee will be 50000 If you have CGPA 8.5 and above then also your annual fee will be 50000 they also have scholarship for jee mains students if your rank in between 1 to 25000 then your annual fee will be 50000
Campus Life :
We have a tech fest held every year named as SHRUJAN this year it was conducted in the month of February We have a 24×7 open library with air conditioning and all kinds of book are easily available in the library We have one football ground one basketball ground 3 badminton courts and one indoor table tennis court Different types of clubs are there like cybersecurity club , robotics club , singing club and many more
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fee per year is 84000 and in one room we have 4 people for first year students Infrastructure is good , registration process for hostel is done during the admission process Mess food quality is average not soo good but average comparing hostel fee with PG it would cost you the same so i prefer living in hostel.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
