- The college is located on a very lice location .The academics are intermediate which doesn't stress you much .The campus have canteen ,cafetaria ,lawn etc which gives a lovely vibe.
- The infrastructure is good .There are 6 buildings vishwakarma, vedanta, chanakya, vaastu, vivekananda, charak each handling there respective courses and students .The faculty is very experienced and helpful.The hostel life is also good .In overall you get to enjoy a lot.
Dislikes
- The only thing is area.The campus is of 25 acre which is not small but looks like small and the students are increasing making it tough to organising events without commotion and chaos.
Remarks :
I wanted to choose a college as soon as possible.I missed the counselling rounds of SRM and Kiite and couldn't clear manipal entrance and ended up in DIT at the end .The admission is based on your 12th boards result also can say direct admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is good overall.I took cse branch because i had interest in it from the very start and its not like i m disliking it.Also the faculty is very good and experienced and teaching method is brilliant.The exams are taken twice in a semester known as mid sems and end sems .The difficulty is based on how you study and plan your subject though its not that difficult.
Placement Experience :
The placement is decent as it is a tier 3 college.The average package here is is i guess 500000 - 700000 and highest is 1.2cr.There are a number of companies that visit dit like infosys, cisco, amazon, oracle etc.Last year was a recession year so less students got placed but they are still working with placement cell.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is approxiamately 3.3lakh per year.The scholarship is based on your 12th PCM subject percentage.If the percentage in your PCM subjects combined crosses 80% then you get scholarship.Other methods of scholarship are state quota and medical issues.
Campus Life :
The clubs, infrastructure, events everything is upto the mark.You get to enjoy a lot and meet new peoples.The library named veda is wonderful allowing you to sit in peace and enjoy ur private time.The fest youthopia conducted in november is one of the best event here at dit.Other events are club events which happens quite often .The event sphurti is the sports event allowing you to showcase your talent in sports occurs in jan.
Hostel Facilities :
To apply for hostel you simply need to report at the college at the time of registration and opt for a room of ur choice.The hostel is good and the mess's food is good too.Sometimes its bad but that's the thing you need to suffer when you are living a hostel life.The price of hostel is 1lakh 40 thousand including everything.If you dont want hostel you can take pg near the college .There are so many pg in the locality which are really affordable and good.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
