Admission is straight forward with no interview rounds. Atleast back in my time. ?10,000/- for admission seat booking. Then directly getting onboarded. Admission times start from May and last until September mid (October first week only if you're lucky)
Course is pretty much the same as all tier 2/3 engineering colleges. No special kind of course specs. College is very crowded and over flowing with students. So no special treatments. Academic Examination is serious now, and not a joke. Placement is decent, a student with engineering skills shall definitely be placed.
Not much internship opportunities in this college unless you're in favour with Career Development Cell. At max 8 to 10 companies might come for internships and each company may take none, 1 or at max 8 students for internships.
Not much scope of Internships in this college. Unless you are directly working under career development cell. Placement is like any other tier 3 college. Mostly Mass Recruiters and startups flood the placements, and college tries hard to manage 70% placements of all CSE students. Not so great for other streams exactly.

Campus is small relative to other Dehradun colleges, and the overflowing student population doesn't really help that fact. Very crowded. Campus exists in a very optimal location, amazing weather and social lives is one of the best compared to all other colleges in Doon. Given the college really is near the heart of the city.
I lived my first 2 years in hostel. Food is relative for everyone's taste, but it's decent and healthy and variety differs. Average taste. Decent quality. No NON VEG food. Except eggs for Wednesday breakfast and Friday night dinner.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
