So what makes this college special from other colleges is that, this college offers graphics as well as animation as there course, which cant be found allover colleges in India. Rest colleges offer either one to take. For bad aspect i would say the location would be the role of play because the main market or the main posh area is way far to the college which can make student frustrate to actually reach to because Dehradun transportation is a major defect over here and also a way too pricey in term of travelling. For admission after filling the registration form a registrar would contact from DIT keeping in mind you would successfully need to achieve at least 60% in 12th board to enter this college because of 605 being the cutoff of this college.Theres no interview round or entrance exam as such, but you will have to be in connect with the registrar where he might be calling you for little paperwork and registration fee so just a voice call or normal online chat is done by registrar.
I wanted to choose design because of how i was incented toward the design part. I did decide where to actually step up in my school days so science or math wasn't my real deal. For the part of qualification every teacher is well qualified where you can find many teacher graduated from outside India colleges which we can trust on and they have a very punctual of way of teaching where combination of presentation and verbal teaching is mixed.Using of labs are normal here and you might find many labs quiz and test which student need to perform in addition to get marks
No I haven't taken any intern till now after being in the 3rd year because I really think I wanna increase my skill and don't go up to companies and set up any mistake to them which can later harm their ecosystem or my portfolio.

I did opt for hostel till my 2nd year and I would say the food quality was just ok at that time, but after that a fresh management catering team came which did change a lot of food and quality over here which made it a measurable good but not fantastic. Food menu do change after a month but not every food is changed rest assured they do take feedback just from the student and proper meeting of student are made to actually change the food accordingly
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
