- The Infrastructure is well maintained, while the faculties are highly qualified and we'll experienced. In addition to that the college is very much involving as students get to interact at mess, around college campus etc. while students can also spend quality time around in Manipal by visiting restaurants, marena sports complex, end point, beaches, night clubs etc.
- The campus has also conducts academic and cultural programs time to time apart from the fests where students and faculties interact and communicate better.
Dislikes
- I personally didn't had any disliking because the course and university curriculum is very involving.
Remarks :
The University is approved by UGC and has NAAC A++ grading, while the Institute is a Apex Laboratory for Arboviruses under National Vector Borne Disease Control Program, Govt. of India and is also a NABL Accredited Laboratory. Also the Institute conducts a interview before the admission and based on the interview candidates are given admission and priority.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course of MSc Clinical Virology at Manipal Institute of Virology, MAHE is thought to be appropriate and over-all programme as it provides edge-cutting research facilities and facilities. Here one can find a specialized subject area virology, opportunity to get practical experience, strong relations with industries, highly qualified and well-experienced faculties, and research prospects. Nonetheless, as this is individual experience, some may differ concerning other factors. It is better however to navigate to the MIV website or directly get in touch with the institution or the office as well as reading the testimonial of other students and reach out to the students personally to know their thoughts as well. The exams are conducted timely and the level of difficulty is moderate, the pattern of examination has now been changed to electronic medium where tablet will be used for conducting the examinations.
Internships Opportunities :
No, the Institution is itself equipped with high facilities and instrumentation, and student here gets the maximum exposure during the course. I see that Intership opportunities will be introduced soon at the Institution so that Students can get good exposure at the campus as well as outside the campus, as to make them aware with other lab setups while few students are sent outside for carrying out their Dissertation work such as NIMHANS(Bangalore) and NIBMG(Kolkata). Apart from that Institution encourages students to participate in Conferences, Workshops, Symposiums, Research Colloquiums etc.
Placement Experience :
Placement Opportunities have begun at the Institution, we have career counseling sessions and institution is getting in touch with some organisations and companies, in the end of the semester students may consult the faculties inorder to apply for different companies. Students of MIV have very good scope of getting placed students have obtained placements at ICMR, IISc, FNDR, NIMHANS, NISHAD, Medical Colleges, Hospitals, etc. The package can vary in different circumstances but generally students get approximately a packages of around 4,80,000. My plan is to pursue PhD from a reputed Institution, and other students also prefer pursuing PhD.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees used to be 1,90,000 but the revised fee structure has increased which is approximately 2,18,000 while 10,000 is the security deposit at the time of admission. The funding of the 6 months Project is carried out by the institute.
Campus Life :
MAHE has many social, cultural and recreational opportunities in the campus, and social infrastructure. The Manipal Utsav and Techno Fest which are annual fests of MANIPAL University are famous festivals held here which reflects and honours the talents of students and helps in the unity of students. This is well supplemented by the array of books and journals that are available at the library that makes it easier to access academic materials. Facilities and use of technological provisions in classrooms is well enhanced taking an implication of well equipped learning ambience. Extra curricular activites in MAHE include a number of team games and sporting activities intended for a variety of talents. Furthermore the student initiated social groups, club, student home page are alone involved in complementing student life and student fellowship.
Hostel Facilities :
The Hostels of Manipal Academy of Higher Education is good and adaptive and the mess food is fine as both south and north indian options are available. There are two mess at the campus i.e., NBQ and Meals on Wheels . Students can easily accommodate themselves in the hostels as they have provided a thick mattress, Almera, Table/chair, Shelf, Hanger etch as well as facilities like regular cleaning, clean washroom/bathrooms, Wifi, clean drinking water, security, 24 hours electricity, etc. Registration process in Hostels is quite simple and affordable. There are PGs available in the surroundings, interested individual may check (Shubham PG, Charvik PG behind Charcoal Resturant, near Syndicate Circle)

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
