The college is very near to my place. I didnt choose the college so much so as it was alloted to me. However many events such as world mental health day is celebrated and the psychology association. They are very much involved so they make it fun. Group discussion and interviews weren't a requirement for the college admission process. We were just to give CUET, an entrance test. And on the basis of its score we were alloted a college as in regard to our preference list.
The college is very interesting and very educational. I could not say the same about the faculty. The faculty for the first year especially is very rude, very disinterested and not helpful. Some teachers for the second year are very good and helpful but it depends on luck. There are 2 exams for the year, one for each semester and the difficulty was average. Other than that there are regular test and assessment for internal marks. External practicals also are conducted before each semester end exam.
The placement and job opportunities for the college are slim to none. So one shouldn't keep much expectations. However, there is a placement cell as well as a entrepreneurship cell. So people might apply for these clubs and grab the opportunities they can.
The year-wise fees for the first year was around Rs. 14,700. This had a slight increase in the fees for the second year between Rs.15-16k. The fees for all categories is same except the PwD category, which was about Rs.8-10k. There was only a one time registration fees for the Delhi University CSAS portal, which was about Rs. 250. There wasn't a scholarship or financial aid opportunity provided to my knowledge.
The life at campus could be better. Since it is an off campus college the area around the college has nothing. College itself is very isolated. The annual fest for the college is Chetna Utkarsh which happens in the month of February. The library is vast it's two story and beautiful. The campus infrastructure is good, it just needs a little bit of maintenance. The psychology lab does have alot of machines for the practical. The college has some of the great societies including Enactus.
There isn't a hostel facility for this college. So people from different regions rent PGs. Most people prefer to rent PGs near the north campus so as to have inexpensive rent. Alternatively they stay at Pgs in an area near the college called Shahdra. One of my friends rent who rented in Shahdra was around 8-10k per month for sharing room.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
