i have given the CUET exam for getting admission in DU and scored nearly 600 something marks in that exam. i don't did any group discussion or something like that i just wanted to get into DU as i don't have any good institute in my area so i prefered DU.
As i am from commerce stream so i decided to go for B.com (H). Initially, when i got into the college i like the structure and environment of the college and on first day of my college i took a tour of my college which was good and tiring also but as the time passes the problem of drinking water and cleanliness was faced for some time which was fixed by the authorities later on. the faculty of the college was also good and their teaching methods also nice except some professors which did nothing in the classroom they just came and sit in the class and just engage themselves in their phones, or they came for class after 30-40 minutes and took attendance and pass some reality check speeches and left. in my 2nd year i faced a teacher for 2 semesters who never take classes just share some yt links and said, "go through the videos" and told a student to take the attendance and DONE! rest are very good and supportive also. And the exam period was not very good at that time.
i never opted any internship from my college though there are various opportunities given by the college to the students also some opted them. College provided internship opportunities to the students' time to time and help them in their better development. infra
The placement cell of the college is good who helped many students in pursuing their placements and take many initiatives and organize various many seminars and programs and invite individuals for guiding the students and helping in their development
the fee's structure approx. remains the same per year except for some other categories like SC, ST they got some concession in fee maybe like of 1000 something or more. All feeses like tution fee, admission fee, development fess etc. are already included in the final amout of annual fees. i never noticed them differently.
For 1st year, it just passed. i did nothing in my first year, neither i make friends nor i had taken the classes or get involved in social activities. i just went to college sometimes, took lectures and went back to home, that's it. But in my second year i got some friends and i really realized what real college life is. i did everything that i couldn't even imagine i started living the real college life. It helped me a lot also in socializing myself and brings a lot of changes to myself. Then i realized that Friends are very important part of your college time. The fest season starts from feb. and in my college the fest held is nealry in first or second week of the feb. It is of 2 days always. The library is also good and helpful and in my college there are various societies who always kept on organizing social activies and games which allows student in socializing themselves and make new friends and colleagues.
The food quality is not that good but ok ok. The food provided by the canteen was not that much of high expectations but later on when the staff of canteen had changed the food quality also got better and prices are also very pocket friendly. The hostel facility was not there in the college, so students have to opt PGs and flats in nearby areas which are easily available and reasonable prices. I don't opt any PG or flat as i am a daily scholar and goes to college form my home always which is a tiring task but it's okey.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
