Course Curriculum Overview :
I had chosen this course because I have so much interest in economics. The teachers in our college are very supportive. The exams are conducted 2 times throught the year and the difficulty level were moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No , I have not opted for any internship as this is my first year. But our college gives internship to students who have good skills in them. But you can try internships outside the campus there are many opportunities like these.
Placement Experience :
Our college does not offer much placement or job opportunities. Only 10% of college's students gets placement. The highest package offered was 10 lakh per annum and average package offered was 6-7 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for my 1st year including all tuition fees , caution fees, registration fees was 14000. The fees for all categories were same. The fees for complete course would be approx 60,000. There are many scholarships provided by the college.
Campus Life :
Our college conducts a annual fest named Chetna and it is conducted in the month of January or February. Our college conducts many sports like cricket, football , kho kho , basketball, baseball and many more.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
