- You will feel more like you are in a boarding school.
- You cannot go outside the campus without a gatepass.
Remarks :
I chose chitkara because of the placement and i chose this campus because of the strength. There are only 2500 students in the campus and the environment here is very good. There were no test or interviews, i got direct admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is fine, the faculty is friendly. The only thing which is a problem is that you have to give exams every two weeks. You will always be stressed about an upcoming session test, viva or practical.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i got placed in my 5th sem, and right now i am interning with the company. I got a decent package. And trust me when i say this my coding was not even good. It was shit. But i managed to get placed.
Placement Experience :
The placement is down this year due to the recession. But if you are sharp enough and if you have studied even for a year in all your 4 years, you'll get placed with a decent package. Because plenty of companies come every year for hiring
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is 70000, no other fee is charged other than this, and there were no scholarships, only the batch topper for the semester gets 100% scholarship and their fee is reimbursed, i.e their 70000 is returned by the university.
Campus Life :
The life in the campus is like of a boarding school. The campus is in a very remote area and you'll have to apply for gatepass for everytime you want to go out. You will only get 1 hour in a day to go outside without the gatepass, but you'll have to submit your id. But, the authority is kind enough to give you one or two DJ nights every two months.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is not very bad as compared to other university. The food slis edible. The hostel fee is 33000 which includes hostel mess and laundary. Girls will get 2 seater rooms with ac for girls and 4 seater room with cooler for boys.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
