- The campus is very clean alot of greenry is there to see and connect with nature . Peacefulness and club named happiness club is there for students who are usually depressed can take counselling there and be in a better mood faculty is very nice and supportive and they help alot with academics and students really admire the attention which is given to them campus lige is great and students are very freindly here also the campus is not big and and very secure to roam around
- Infrastructure is really nice in campus . Morden architecture buildings and furniture can be noticed all around the academic block and there are two main blocks for students study classroom one acadmic block other is kalam and there is another for pharma students . Comprises of play fields football ground basket ball ground chess aera badminton courts and vollyboll courts
Dislikes
- The only thing I don’t dislike is there are few numbers of lifts and sometimes lectures are on third floor and 1st floor consecutively which become running simulator lecture after lecture and so it is a hassle to change the lecture hall every minute without any lifts the staris are very slippery lots of students fell there and it is really hard to find lecture halls due the complex numbering system as a beginner so many students have to ask around where this lecture hall gonna be.
- Now the college location is very remote and in an inaccessible area industrial thus hard to travel to college for day scholars and for hostellers this aint no problem. the college is near a village the campus surroundings are not safe but campus inside is very safe as there are ex army men patrollIng with very strict displine.
Remarks :
The placement opportunities here are excellent with 100 percent sucess rate in god aspects. The faculty is very dedicated ensuring student is productive on their goals Additionally the campus hosts multiple events like concerts, hackathon events codewars also science, exhibition, and of Iot there are numerous projects now talking about the bad aspects where are a lot of complaints for hostel food also Institute imposes hefty fees 3500 for lower attendance in each subject now talking about the admission process, there are no entrance exams. They take on 12th grade cut-off about 70 to get into BE computer science and for BCA lower is needed. There is a pharma department too and PhD students sometimes teach as faculty in replacement. Also, seniors are very helpful to guide through semesters exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in computers having a way for them. Also, I really like to code feels like expressing. Myself. Most of the faculty professors holds a PhD degree Most of the faculty is good. They help with each student asking doubts. Some of the professors are hard to understand, but they will guide you if having any doubt prior in mind Now moving the exams topic in each semester. There are a total 3ST and one and term exams were on timely basis. They never got delayed in the 3st two of them are compulsory. One left is for who failed in one and it’s a Choice . Now talking about the exam difficulty level It usually comes from medium to hard still students who are dedicated crack the exam easily.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven’t opted for any internship until now, but from third year, there are many mass internship recruiters. As I am in Second Year. there are preople i know working in lenskart and other companies come to university for only exam times and stays off campus while working at thier internships
Placement Experience :
The college is very good in campus placements. Also known as best college in the north for placement. Placement ratio is generally high Chitkara collaborate with many companies like Cisco IBM Microsoft Palo Alto networks geeks for geeks. The college also focus on entrepreneurship as there is a dedicated club named CEED Chitkara to TO INVENT AND INVEST a minimum 6.5 CGPA is required to sit inplacement. there are also local recruiters from example, Chandigarh who has student there are web development companies. Who take students for internships and many more also, there are overseas student exchange programmes in the campus for a semester on low prices.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There 8 semesters total 4 year plan each semester comprises of 6 months with a fee of 70000 rupee only. The first semester fee will be 80000 but the rest of the semester’s are 70000. There is bus fee 24000 from Chandigarh and lower if you are travelling less distance the hostel fee is 35000 per semester.
Campus Life :
Life in campus is smooth but there are some rules and regulation. It is not allowed to go outside the campus without the permission of your parents or guardians. Also you can go out but only for one hour from 4 to 5 in evening. There are a lot of fest which are conducted recent one was Sufi night. It was for classical folklore music. Sometimes DJ nights are there. Freshers parties are very good. Most of the events are for hostlers and not for days scholars. There are hackathons Last time was hack expo. There are library competitions of who read the most books in a month. The library is good and cozy to study internet facility is around the campus. Now moving to the sports, there is chess, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and twice in a year. The sports fest is conducted. There are origami competition competitions. There are a lot of clubs like NCC CSI IEC, reading clubs, also music clubs for enthusiasts for there is no website, but there is a hostel committee of students.
Hostel Facilities :
Iam not in hostel but the fee is 35,000 per semester, the food is is medium quality, but some students complain there is non-veg to on some days on 4 PM. They get snacks for example, patties normal Daal The rice Paneer, Aloo sabji, also curd, Puri, rajma, and white chana is a random on days, also, in breakfast, they get tea and paranthas

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
