- Restrictions over bringing packed food..
- Strict policies over 75% attendance.No negotiations and tolerance.
Remarks :
The college is away from hustle and bustle and cleanliness is maintained at high priority. The campus is ragging free and environment is friendly and each senior is helpful and supportive. Faculty support at every perspective.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have good interest in software development and programming. Every faculty is a PhD holder at chitkara University with good experience in teaching Mid term exams every after 1.5 months and at the end final exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Microsoft, Palo Alto networks, IBM, infosys, HCL, coding ninjas,Dell,OYO ,code forces , TCS , Amazon, Oracle etc.. There are various roles like cyber security, Full stack developer , database manager etc..
Placement Experience :
Over 250+ companies visited last year for hiring students and more than 90% students get placed . Microsoft, Infosys, IBM etc.. visited last year.. Highest package 35 LPA Average package 7 LPA 7 cgpa is required for placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
70 k /semester for academics and there are no hidden charges. 10k for dress which includes 10 tshirts and 3 hoodies. Scholarships are provided to students which performs excellence during there exams
Campus Life :
More than 14 clubs are present at chitkara University which are responsible for organising many events at different levels. Libraries are well equipped with AC and wifi and everything is accessible to students at library.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is hygiene and good. 3 meals and 1 snacks are provided to students Rs 33300 is fees for 1 semester for hostels which includes room , mess, laundary. If renting a pg pinjore might be a great choice .

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
