This is very prestigious college of our country. admission here is done on the basis of CUET examination scores. MH offers exposure where we can find students from every state and different countries.
Faculty is well experienced and knowledgeable. They know every single topic from depth. Their way of teaching is also praise worthy. Curriculum is well designed. There are 6 semesters in 3 years. Apart from that, in every semester we have to give a mid semester test.
There are various companies which come to college at the end of completion of a degree such as make my trip, ICICI Bank,Tech Mahindra, etc. Highest package was 21.5 lakh per annum. 69 students were placed in last year.
Science stream is usually offered good package. But humanities especially political science Hons is not given any placement as such. We either have to prepare for job or go elsewhere for masters and PhD.
Course fees of Political Science (Hons) is rs 15460 . Apart from this students are supposed to pay rs 2000 per semester in the form of exam fees. Course fees of BA program is also same . And they also have to pay extra 2k in the form of exam fees.
Campus is decent. But there is a problem of AC. Humanities block faces this issue. An annual fest 'Tempest' is held in April. Apart from this , various other events are held . Various seminars are conducted which provide us knowledge outside books.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
