Remarks :
Good: 1. Miranda House has an incredible and prestigious brand value so that helps overall. 2. The faculty is absolutely wonderful. They are proper professors who want to teach you as much as they can! The economics faculty is actually 10/10. 3. Warm and welcoming environment where a woman can truly grow into her best version! 4. Great facilities for such less fees! 5. Great exposure to societies, clubs and extracurricular activities especially cultural! 6. Cultural Diversity is amazing and empowering! 7. Academically rigorous- great for students who want to focus on studies! Bad: 1. Bad placements, teachers don’t encourage for placements and jobs but encourage for masters and government exams like UPSC. 2. Girls college can be a no for sone people. 3. Very bad with internal marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is absolutely fantastic! They are extremely qualified professors who truly want to teach their students and share as much knowledge as possible! They are strict with attendance and internal marks tho, atleast the Eco department. The course curriculum is absolutely stupid according to me but that isn’t mirandahouse fault, it’s the NEP.
Internships Opportunities :
I got an internship opportunity from Top One Percent from my placement cell. I got ?20,000 stipend per month but it was a rare opportunity that I grabbed. Other companies were okay okay and most did not offer stipend or brand name
Placement Experience :
Criteria depends company to company but recently it was 8CGPA+. Great companies come but less than before and packages are not good. Our placement cell is very bad. With the potential that it has, it does not live up. Internship opportunities are fine not great. If you want placement, MH is not the best place to go.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As a general student, my yearly fees is around rs 13,000! Despite being the best college in India it is very cheap and affordable even compared to colleges such as SRCC, Kirori Mal, LSR etc! Compared to privates, the fees is nothing!
Campus Life :
Annual Fest-Tempest, absolutely amazing! Wonderful exposure of societies and clubs like Enactus, Finance, Business, Singing, dancing, literary, EHATEVER YOU WANT! The library is tooo good! People are wonderful and super smart
Hostel Facilities :
My friends in hostel really like it but there is no AC and it gets very hot in the summers. The food I have heard is nice. MH is at a prime location so many options for living such as PGs and flats are there.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
