Remarks :
Miranda house ranks 1st among DU colleges from past 7 years . The ambience tha environment of college is unbelievable faculty , students , our principle Mrs Bijaylaxmi nanda mam is so kind hearted and cool . When i got addmission in 2021 we get through board exam percentage but now after corona CET has been taken for addmission . I got add-mission at 96.2% in BSc life sciences in first round of counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BSc life sciences because i have interest in both Zoo and botany . Teachers are so cooperative in each semester . Exams are always on time followed by DU guidelines . Mostly teachers are Phd qualified and extremely talented . Each semester end has exam and Internal assessment throughout the semester for theory and countionous assessment for practical exam
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship with internshala . My work is to tell more about intershala and sell their couse basically it was a marketing internship where i learn about communication , it was not related to my course but i had done it for my overall development
Placement Experience :
Many students placed through college with a good package 70-80k per month . One of my friend from bsc computer and physical sciences placed in IT company through college . I plan to pursue Masters
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The 3 year degree course totally cost 19000 for 1st year , 16000 for 2nd year and 16000 for 3rd year . Fees of college decreasing over the year Nsp provide scholarship to students pursuing graduation that is 12000 per year
Campus Life :
My campus life is very happening each year fest is organised called as “tempest” in Miranda House. Big singers come to Miranda like last year We have Sunidhi Chauhan with us . Freshers , Farewell is top notch . Our seniors are also soo humble and cooperative . we have so many socities and extra curicullar activites happen every month . Societies for dance , singing , qrt , Nss etx . We have large canteen , nescafe store , and PAM canteen , 7-8 gardens lawns for students and we have labs for each subject , big classrooms with white , black board and projector . Library is of 2 floors and spacious with each every course books .
Hostel Facilities :
I haven’t opted for hostel because i lived with my family and for hostel we shoud be from out of delhi - ncr . I also rented pg in hkkikat nagar and gtb nagar for 10,000 per month fully furnished with food included

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
