This college is enrolled under IPU, and takes CLAT score in consideration for admission. There's also around 70% reservation for people belonging to Delhi's domicile. There were no Group Discussions or interviews or written tests as such. I was an outside Delhi student and got 3000+ rank in the exam.
I chose this course as it aligns with my future prospects. The faculty are a great add to the college experience, most of them are either PHd holders or are pursuing it alongside being the lecturer. The curriculum is very comprehensive and includes all of the aspects that needs to be covered in a course like this.
Yes I have opted for internships on my own. But my college also provides internships under Senior Advocates, AoRs (Advocates on Record) etc. I recently did my internship under a well placed lawyer in Rohini District Court and had a great experience there.
My course particularly has its own placement cell which places students in several top tier firms. Including surana & surana etc, several students also opt for practicing under advocates in Supreme court and High Court.
The fee for my batch for first year was approx 1, 54, 000 INR, as it included security fee and registration fee also. The fee for every other year is same i.e. 1,14,000 . The fee is also increased for each successive batch. The batch preceding mine gave 2000 less than us and the ones succeeding my batch is giving 2000, and 6000 more respectively.
The college's campus is small compared to others, but isn't very small. The college has several centralized clubs and departmental clubs as well. There are several societies which deal with different aspects of law and conduct events on similar lines.
There are no hostel facilities available in the college or by the college, but the location of the campus is very beneficial. It's very easy to find a PG or flat which is affordable and easy to reach . The canteen on college is very affordable and provides the best food with supreme quality.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
