The college is overall cheaper compared to other private colleges for law, plus it is Delhi, so better opportunities. As a resident of Delhi I find it affordable and good in comparison to the other options given to me. The admission was taken on the basis of the rank you have got in the CLAT exam and also on the basis of your CUET score. I prepared for it online through video lectures provided on YouTube and various mock papers.
I chose the course because of my interest in law. The faculty is knowledgeable and helpful. We have personal skill development assignments for each subject. The teachers use methods like PowerPoint presentations, lectures, debates, etc. to help us understand. Exams are conducted once at the college level the internals and one at the university level the externals. Both the exams are more application-based rather than theory.
The college takes on guarantee of internships. we do have guides that help us to prepare for interviews but no such internship is given. The professors do help us by telling us which internships are good or about vacant internships.
As to what I've heard from the seniors the placement is very less. The college is great for learning as many opportunities for growth is provided but no such placement is give. We do have an active placement cell that can help you in where to apply and prepare you for interviews.
First year the fee would be higher comparatively due to additional charges like security money, registration fee, etc. Scholarship for ST/SC /OBC is provided. The total college fee for 5 years is around approximately 8 lakh.
We do have fests, it's different each time so there is no specific name for it...many TED talks are conducted. The library is well-equipped. All classrooms have centralized AC. As for sports, we do have various sports teams for both boys and girls- basketball, kabaddi, powerlifting, tug of war, etc. We have ncc to for both boys and girls. We have multiple societies like the Western dance society, the classical and folk dance society, drama society, music society and cultural society of each course, other societies includes ngo, nss, enactus, and photography society. In all the centralized societies are more active in comparison to course societies.
The college does not provide a hostel. There are many pg's and hostel's near by with an average cost being around 8k per month. The pg is easily available within a 1-2km radius. Thee food there is ok nothing too good. YOu can find multiple VIPS students living in pgs.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
