The admission process was very smooth, and there was nothing like that was difficult. I just walked into college and they got me admission into BTech computer science engineering. The things which I chose was the college was near to my house so it was easy for me to go and college and come back.
The course curriculum is a bit noisy. As in my first semester. They are teaching theory subjects I think which are not going to help me anywhere and Physics and Maths, which we have to some level studied in class 11th and 12th. Faculty of college is amazing. Every teacher give its best to make the student understand what the topic is.
Personally, I haven’t attended any type of internship or placement yet as I am in the first year, but my senior say that college to provide placement if you’re good and willing to participate in the interview rounds with proper English
The placement internships are good as seniors have told us that the placement sometimes go vacant without Student opting for it as they opt for Masters or go abroad. So internships groups are available from the very first year for the students to know about the industry and what kind of internships are happening?
The fees of my college is Is around 69,000 per semester, which is for BTech computer science engineering and all the BTech branches and for the year. It ranges from 1.4,00,00 to 1.5,00,00 including 1000 for admission charges during the beginning and some of the events charges also.
The college is well built with all the Blocks having it separate park in front of it, which gives it a very green wipe and we feel connected to nature. Water dispensers are available at every distance and there are social groups in almost every aspect whether it be enquiring, drawing cultural
The hostel rooms are good enough. There are options with AC rooms and with non-AC rooms. The hostel food is also amazing and they provide many things in the mess. Food every day. The menu changes and the quality of food is amazing.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
