Likes
- The environment of class is great and the professors are a genius in there own.
- The campus evironment is pleasent. It is always good to have a walk at night in the campus.
Dislikes
- Hostels are not very clean and mes food is also very average.
- Some times the schedules get too hectic and few professors will not understand your emergencies.
Remarks :
The college has its own legacy of being the biggest college for minning in asia. Also it's placements are great. The students and culture here promotes all kind of activities including singing, dancing, sports etc . Have heard about it excellence all around. Of course you need to score good in JEE Advance exam to get into it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses are based on the latest patern decided by IITs all over the country. But yet their are various places where I find it slightly outdated. Though some professors here take themselves outside their comfort zones and syllabus and give us industry level latest informations, many of others just let it go. But overall I would not say it us exceptionally good but decent would be a better adjective..
Placement Experience :
Generally having a decent GPA of above 7 would ensure your placement. But to crack placements in above average companies it is important to learn various dev skills and DSA etc for software related jobs. Rest core jobs are also available. But there are less opportunities there in comparison to non-core.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Odd semester fees = 136450 Even semester fees = 123400 There is provision for scholarships like MCM and also for SCs and STs it is next to free. It includes all charges including the hostel and mess charges. It is increasing with time but the increase is not too high so the given fee is close to accurate.
Campus Life :
It is the most beautiful thing that I like about the college. The club culture here is awesome. There are about 30+ clubs here covering all the domains. From coding to robotics to astronomy to cultural like Dancing, Street dancing, song, drama etc. It also has clubs for sports like chess, kung fu, badminton, cricket, football, hockey. All of them have good coaches as well. Though I would say chess might improve as there are no coaches yet. But who knows?????
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel. The hostels here are not the best of course. The girls hostel is beautiful though but for boys I would say no to hostel. The new hostel build for 2nd and 3rd tears is beautiful but rest all are close to garbage. The hostel fees is in the tution fees I mentioned above.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
