The college had a good reputation as well as a good NIRF ranking. The placement stats were as good as any other college in the top 20 govt college. I was admitted solely by the JEE Mains score and did not undergo any GD , PI or written test.
The course curriculum is up to date and some subjects are really with the industry standards. All the faculties are having PhD degrees with good knowledge. Some teachers are very cooperative in terms of doubts and attendance
No. The internship opportunities for Mechanical branch is very less unlike the placement. Internship opportunities often come for Tech branches and many students have got an intern in reputed companies such as Microsoft, Google, Ola etc. I have grabbed an off campus internship.
Placements and job opportunities are good. Almost all the good companies visit the campus for placement. 75% companies keep a cgpa criteria of 6.5 And rest have a cgpa criteria of 7.5 The highest package was 52lpa and lowest was 3.6lpa. Almost all the students are placed in all the branches. 100% placement in tech branches (CSE, IT, CSAI, ITNS, CSDS, MAC) and around 67% placed in core branches because some students opt for further studies
1st year: 219000 2nd year: 229000 3rd year: 245000 4th year: 260000 Hence a total of 953000 rs excluding hostel facility. Hostel charges are 60000 per semester which makes it 480000 for 4 years. Several scholarships and financial aids are provided such as MCM, CPVS etc.
Life at campus is not very amazing. There is constant pressure of exams and placement prep. Sports and extra curricular activities are always promoted in the campus. The societies and clubs are active with conducting their activities and involving the students.
Yes I am a hosteller. The hostel is alloted on the basis of distance from the college in decreasing order. The message fee is very high compared to the quality and variety of food. The infrastructure is good and the rooms are spacious.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
