So my college does not require any specific exam. It only depends upon your 12th marks, there is no interview or written test round. It’s so depends upon your pre-academic marks. My factor for choosing this college was its social media presence.
Except two or three teachers arrested. The faculty is bad and by bad means they’re too bad. Some teachers cannot speak English properly if I think about it there are only 12 teachers who cannot speak English properly, but still the teachers are not good in teaching except few teachers exams are fine. It’s university affiliated exams. So nothing good or bad about.
Yeah, I was working with Job inside. It’s one of the HR form it recruits people for different companies and I worked there as an intern for two months. The work environment was nice. I had pretty nice experience.
Placement opportunities are good. They offer good internships and the placement committee also is good. One of my friend was in placement committee. It’s not too good, but it’s not too bad. Also, they get pretty nice companies on board for placement as well as internship.
The annual fees of the college is between 25 to 28,000, it increases 2 to 3000 every year, for example my fees in first year was 25,000 2nd year 26,000 now it’s 27,000 and it includes everything the ID card fees, the exam fees, library fees, and much more
Wilson is famous for its fest. There are a lot of fests around the year in whole of Bombay. Wilson conducts more fest than any other college. I was the head of one of the fest called Hope and Hope is an ISR event, institutional social responsibility event that is Bombay‘s biggest ISR event by the way, and they also have their cultural fest called Ole ether, Polaris, et cetera
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
