I did not face any group discussions , interview or written tests. I was not planning to take admission in Wilson College. It's just that this college have a hostel facility for both male and female, and just like me there are many students who have the same reason to take admission in Wilson college. College is good but does not provide the kind of exposure i expected from the college.
BMM course is good, faculty is good actually... Professors are well read also help in clearing doubts. One of our Professors Mr. Sudhakar Solomanraj is the finest. Fun fact- he brought BMM into Mumbai... He has great knowledge of advertising and politics. Also he knows many industry professionals and has good connections. The exams are easy and won't bother you very often, there are CIAs(20 marks exam) and semester exam (60 marks exam)
I have got 2 interships on my own, one was social media marketing and the other was scripting. The college teachs some of the skills of both marketing and script writing, which helped me in applying for the internships. It was just a one month intership.
Students how to find their own internships and placements atleast for my course. I'm trying to find internship from my first semester in this college. I'd suggest just get some skills and keep applying. Don't relay on college.
Per year the Fee is 34000, it includes everything, exam, tuition, also there is gym in college, so gym fees included, sports fees, lab fees, campus fees, etc. for 3 year course, I can sum up in 1 lakh. I don't know whether the fee increases every year or not. But this year it was increased by 10%
Campus Life is not what I expected. Crowd is eh. Not so friendly. It's mostly that they fake to be really nice with you but end but being a backstabber. You might feel neglected and lonely in the crowd. Eventually you'll adjust. There are many groups and clubs like Muktangan, it is a club which takes care of all the programs and fests..it's a big deal to be part of Muktangan. Also there is NCC... There is gym available in college, fests are going on every now and then... The major fests are Polaris, Hope, and Ole. There is website for Ole. Books and journals are available in the library and there is great variety of books..
Hostel is good, location is great, infrastructure is good and hostel is clean, there are many facilities available in hostel, like, TV, carrom board, table tennis, football, volleyball, bat. Also washing machine, wifi, fridge, and microwave are available. Water is available 24/7. For the freshers there are sharing room while for the seniors are the single rooms. Rooms include, cupboard, bed frame, table, chair and a cloth hanger. You'll have to buy the bed from the reception. Mess food is good. EATABLE I'd say. But not that great. Taste is okayish. Mess is compulsory.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
