This college has good reputation that's why I choose this college. The addmissions are based on 12th percentage cut-off and no further interviews were taken. There is sihk minority criteria for sikh students for that you have a proper certificate is required
I don't have maths in class 11 & 12 so Bcom Hons is not an option for me that's why I have chosen Bcom program. The faculties are good expect some of them, they don't care about the students they just came speak mark attendance and leave. While some of the faculties are very good they interact with students help them in any difficulty related to there subject.
No, but there is several internship opportunities provided to students. There is an internship fare in college where the recruiter came and interview students for internships program. These internships are for 3,6 months with average stipend of 12000
There is a seperate club that handles the placement opportunities for students. All Big 4's have came to our college for placement and many students are being placed. Most of them have conducted online processes like pre-placement talk, aptitude test and interview but few of them are offline. There is a minimum criteria of 6 CGPA to take part in placements
Fees is paid yearly wise and it has increased one time in my period from 27000 to 31050. Scholarship is also provided to some students by the university or there state on achieving rank like in Jammu and Kashmir. There fees is completely wave- off.
I think social life is best in our college, several points where students chill and laugh. Canteen is always crowded. The club's are very active there is always something happening in clubs, there are more than 30 clubs in our college. The infrastructure is very good, classes have AC, projector, fully furnished well maintained and clean.
Hostel is only provided to girls. I think boys hostel is also build for the outstation boys. Girls can apply for hostel at the time of addmission and if there is availablity then it will be allotted to you.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
