No I didn't join or face any sort of group discussion or anything .its just it was the only college that was in a day to day travel distance from my house and issued a degree in law which is also the good aspect about the college. And now if I honestly have to tell the bad aspect of the college then it will be that there are a few unnecessary lectures for students which many of them don't even want to attend as they are of no use for those students such as soft skills etc.
I personally chose this course because I have a strong interest regarding the legal aspects and system since a few years now. The qualification of the faculty is good and the teaching method they use are very practical. The term exams are held mostly after ever one and a half months as there are two term exams which are held every semester and the difficulty level of these exams varies from easy to moderate.
I recently did my first internship in the month of July which was provided by the college itself . I was for the duration of three weeks. I did my internship under Advocate Pradeep Bedi sir who is a practicing advocate in the district court as well as the Punjab and Haryana High court.
As I am a third year student and my degree course is of five years , so I don't know about the placement that well but as far as I have heard about the placements for the other departments then I would say that there are good placements which are available for students and the recent highest package was of 42.3 lakhs.
Per semester we pay 35,500 and as there are 2 semesters in a year , so we pay 71,000 per year. There are a few types of additional fees that we have to pay for during the period of an year such as University return fees, fees for fest, etc
We recently had our tech fest named Saviskar for the year 2024 which was of two days and we had two star nights as well . On the first day we had a Sufi night and on the second day we had a concert of Ankit Tiwari ( bollywood singer) . The availability of books and journals in the library is good. We also have a very good participation rate in sports tournaments which are held across the universities and colleges in Punjab.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
