In 8th sem, you need to do an internship, so in 7th sem, the college placements starts as most of the students continue to work in the company they got an internship in. Most of the internships are paid ranging from 10k to 70k per month, but some companies offer unpaid internships too.
You need to clear all backlogs before 7th sem if you want to truly participate in placements, and most companies will prefer you GPA to be greater than 7, so make sure of that. In 2023 the placement season was quite good, but in 2024 most of companies are taking 1-2 students only and package is also not that great.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
