The college infrastructure is very impressing and everyone's first impression is good Currently, the new building is one the way it will take maximum 2 years to complete, then it will be finished, my course is BA (P) history+philosophy, and the faculty is very good and kind, you can't deny that it is a college of delhi university
I was interested in history that's why i choose history and philosophy, about faculty as i said it is very kind and communicating, they treat you as a friend, personally they have many facilities and societies that you can join if you're interested in acting, dancing and singing is best you or any sports you play or you can join ncc that'll benefit you in many ways like attendance and all.
6-month part-time internship program for regular students of the university. and industry, offering hands-on experiences with support from giants like EY, Wipro, and IBM. with support from a leading Indian seed fund.
I'm in first year so I can't say anything about it. But if you're pursuing ba programme you can prepare for civil services or if your subject is same as me i have history (major) i can become archaeologist or professor.
Fees is very low because it is governmentt college and government university and it will not increase in maybe 3-4 years, Ramanujan College offers a wide range of merit scholarships and need-based financial support. Scholarships are designed to allow students to pursue their education without any hurdles.
Campus is not big but it's good looking to be honest, the vibe of the college is very, books are good in the library, only thing is bad about library is that it is small, in this college students can be involve in college elections.
There is 1 canteen, 1 nescafe and 1 cafe Hostel facility is not in the college You can have a flat or pg in kalkaji or govindpuri as you like, i personally recommend you should rent a room or get a good pg by looking a good pg for atleast 1-2 days, definitely you'll find one good for you
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
